Type 140 DC shunts are an industry-standard design originally manufactured by General Electric. They are small, light and easy to handle. Models from 10 to 2500 DC amps are available, with either 50mV or 100mV output. A heavy manganin element gives these shunts mechanical strength.

• Optional mounting base

Standard models have unplated contacts.  For silver plating:
on units without base, change 140011 to 140021, 140014 to 140024
on units with base, change 140031 to 140041, 140034 to 140044
